Pretty girl with a great voice... tough field to break into though. I wish her luck.

"My dad was a huge Led Zeppelin fan, he loved the Beatles," she says.
Hehe, he might have been one of my students! I could get a 45 minute lesson out of Led Zep, minus music. Listening to Whole Lotta Love was the homework and quite a few of them were into it. |

In other countries I have used music and lyrics in class, but not in KSA. |

I've used Bonnie Tyler, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Abba, Pink Floyd plus loads of other stuff. The Bonnie Tyler was fantastic, had my nightmare 'D' class banging away on the desks to 'I need a hero', during my intro as I was introducing a lesson on have a go heroes.
I'll never forget that. |
