I'm really struggling with a situation; I would like to open it up to others' ideas; creative solutions.
I might ask though that your creative mental powers be channeled towards suggesting a solution and not commenting on the situation or how it evolved.
Situation: previously hired under another principal/administration: very energizing, get out the way, 'You're the expert; go to it.'; 'We'll set goals; we'll come back in two months; I want to hear if things are not met before then, though' type of operating management style.
He was fired by the owner of the school.
New administration hired. Woman, very different style. Setting the school off in a direction of 'Modern languages': push the information at the students; teachers go to the classes, not pull out in ESL teachers room; trashing others who have been in ESL for a long time. Running the place like kindergarten. So substandard, inability to prioritize properly; very retrograde and lower order functioning/thnking and decision making as well as poor timely decisions. This is just a description to help understand.
The issue: I want out! My allegiance is owed to the principal who hired me and that particular management style. The situation is not untenable at the moment, however, the writing is on the wall and I would like to feel prepared.
Here's the question: What can be written on the renewing visa that will have the effect of the government denying the visa; and, does not qualify as being a 'Refused' visa? leaving the door open and not to 'burn bridges' etc. and disqualifying myself for future employment.
I suspect the trick is in the second part of the question; I would like to hear other perspectives and experience.
One last piece of information: the visa renewal will come up during the contact period in the next month and a half. This is just to help understand.
I look forward to hearing creative solutions that might help solve this problem. |

How long until the end of your current contract? Best option (CV and career-wise) would be to hang on and finish your current contract. In the meantime start preparing and have another job lined up upon completion. |

Give the specified notice in your contract and pull the trigger. Be prepared to relocate to another province and try to have something lined up before you depart.
1. find new job
2. give notice
3. move to new job.
Don't take any lip from your boss, if she starts jerking you around about the paperwork you need for moving, stop working immediately. Be prepared to walk the hell out the door a second's notice.
Also accept you may lose some money in this deal. But whaddya want; new job or same old headache? |

Why do you need a visa? Your post reads like a Chinese person with (granted, very) good English, but still Chinese?
Why would you need a visa? |
