Hey just wondering how you guys put the CELTA or TEFL courses on your resume? Do you just list it under education, or do you create a separate section on your resume for "professional designations" etc? |

I suggest listing it under an "Education and Training" section and right below your university degree(s) and stated something like the following:Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), [city and country where taken], awarded by Cambridge University ESOL Examinations on [date] |

Put it in the education section. It's still part of your education, right?
Slightly off-topic but I wonder if anyone in China even knows what a CELTA is. I've never once been asked about it. |

Thanks guys!
And I've seen it "preferred" on a couple of postings. But either way, if I ever want to teach outside of China I think CELTA will be worth the extra work/money. At least just based on what I've been told and what I've read. |
