|
|
Hi guys,
I am currently in a situation where I have accepted a job offer with a uni, forked out the money to get docs attested etc, and have finally received my visas.
The problem is, I am supposed to get my flight arrangements thru the SACB in London. They have not replied to my emails, neither has the employer in KSA. This is quite worrying now, as I've spent a considerable amount on getting everything sorted, as well as the preparation to leave.
My questions are:
*How long should it take to get flight arrangements after supplying SACB with the visa copies?
*Is it normal to get email silence from the employer?
*Is it possible that they have decided not to hire after the visas have been issued?
Thanks in advance. |

The Saudi Companies are known to do stuff like that. You should hear from them within a week at least. If they have decided to not hire you after all, there is nothing you can do about it. You can't use the visa for another company. |

I think things will be sorted out in a week or two. At my place we have a mid-term break coming up, so you will probably come over during the break..
SACB were fine with me, and booked my flights quite quickly. |

"SACB" an anagram of "SCAB"!
I love it! |

Thanks for the info. I actually heard back from the employer today. Still waiting to hear from SACB though. |

Usually the employer arranges the ticket. It should come soon. You only have 3 months from the issuing of the visa to arrive in Saudi Arabia. |

SACB has been arranging flights for many direct hire uni jobs. |
