I know that the police report become invalid after six months and the medical report after three, but what about the degree? Once you get it does is it good forever?

The degree attestation I think is permanent. Remember to always save the copies of your attested degrees to be used for later visas.

For the police report, they accept local city reports. those can be had usually on the same day they are applied for. State reports take up to two weeks but usually come before then.
