Do you know what MEF stands for?
There is a recruiter out of the Middle East called MEF International that has a less than stellar reputation. Some Mideast recruiters have moved into the Chinese market, and I believe they have too.
There is also a Making English Fun in China that goes by MEF.
As a possible yellow flag, crappy companies have a tendency to use hard to look-up acronyms to keep people like yourself from doing due diligence. |

| It's Making English Fun from what I understand. They have a presence in Japan and their China operation is new. Can't find much info about it though, other than there's some big enough differences between a job ad they posted in September and their most recent one |

Can't be of help personally, but I suppose the possibility exists that they have upped the ante after realizing that the candidate pool seems to be declining. |
