I am US national, currently working in Turkey. I just interviewed with a recruiting company for a preparatory year position in KSA starting Sept 2016. He said I can have the medical exam and process the visa from Turkey.
Is it really true?!? |

I think it depends on the employer. I used to live in Bulgaria where there is no Saudi Embassy. One employer processed things for me in London. Another processed things so that I could get the visa at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul. The Cultural Attache in Ankara helped, but it was still a question of jumping through a number of hoops, Most of these hoops had instructions in Turkish. |

As Scot47 mentioned, it depends on the employer. However, if your qualifying degree is from a US university, it would have to be authenticated by the Saudi Arabia Cultural Mission in Washington, DC. So be aware that you'd need to communicate with your university registrar regarding the distance learning form, original transcript, and enrollment verification letter. Be prepared to pay for mailing costs. |
