This question is fairly strait forward? How do the prices in Saudi Arabia compare to western countries like Canada,US and the UK ?
Cheers,

I had quite a bit of work done in Riyadh, root canals etc, and the cost was lower than in the UK, but not substantially so.
Bear in mind you may benefit from the medical insurance you get from your employer.
Some dentists I found were prepared to circumvent the system (shocking!) by helping one to claim fraudulently on insurance forms etc.
The medical insurance doesn't cover everything of course, and it helps to be creative.
The real problem I had was finding a dentist who was competent. I had some work done by a guy from Jordan. When I at last found a better dentist, she said that his work had been shoddy. She also said that foreign dentists in Saudi are often less than fully qualified.
Being a tefl teacher, I fully appreciated where she was coming from! |

| Based on my experience in the Magic Kingdom, the best dentists are the Syrians. The prices are much cheaper than the UK. |

The answer to this question isn't really that strait forward. The price difference between Canada, the US, and the UK is huge... with predictably, the US being obscenely expensive.

So, let me get this straight. If you are in dire straits, do you go strait forward or straightforward?

Oh, John! All good sailors know they must go straight forward in the strait.

Either could be very difficult if you're wearing a straitjacket. |
