Can I enter and teach in UAE with 2 felonies?

Is prostitution legal or tolerated? (technically it is illegal i think in Thailand but it's obviously tolerated.)

Is pornography legal?

Anything here in UAE that is illegal that would be legal in America or western countries?

Ask your potential employer what documentation and background checks are required.

Considering the UAE is a Muslim country... Possessing pornography is illegal. Prostitution is also illegal as well as sex outside of marriage. In fact, even public displays of affection can land you in hot water. UAE residents need a liquor permit to purchase alcohol (see Alcoholic Beverages Law in the UAE).

That said, your BA in Film Studies won't cut it in terms of teaching jobs. To teach k-12 in the UAE, both your degree major and teaching license/qualification should match (e.g., an education degree + elementary or secondary school licensure). For university foundation English jobs, a TEFL-related MA + several years of relevant experience is the minimum.
