| I was always under the immpression that you could get work with only a TESL certificate, but the company im taking the course with is stating that a BA is also required?! Is this true? |

I have seen from a few other posts here at Dave's that it is possible to work in China with out a BA. Also if you check out www.chinatefl.com I saw a few schools whose minimum requirements were highschool with a TEFL certificate; one even quoted middle school with a TEFL certificate. These were not in very....metropolitan places though.
A few people on this site, check older postings, have also been working without a degree. Some maybe photocopied their friends or bought them in Tailand. These could also be options if you REALLY gotta teach/travel. |

| i see, thanks! Me and the wife are going across sea's to teach, but she has a BA, where as I don't! I've always wanted to go to china, so I think you've answered my question, Thanks |
