By the way, how do you all get those cute icons by your name? must I be in some special club to get one?

Go to your profile control panel (link at the top of the page). At the bottom, there should be a section entitled "Avatar control panel". In the box provided, you should type/paste the URL of the image you'd like to have as your avatar (e.g. http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif)

If you need a place to upload the image of your choice (provided that you don't have access to webspace elsewhere), I'd recommend Photo Bucket, as others seem to have had success with it.
