Hello

Has anyone any thoughts on the above establishment?

I've been offered a position with them (and accepted). The contract seems a little vague though and I'm concerned.

Funny I just searched for it and came upon your post. Seems to be very little in the forum about NENU except a scandal in the mid-2000s. I've basically accepted a position as well and am also concerned about the contract length and that an apparently reputable national university is still hiring this late in the summer. At least they respond quickly. I'm supposed to be placed in a different School, but there's a good likelihood I'll end up doing some TEFL as well as they weren't expecting to get a FT for Law & Politics and so hadn't arranged enough classes for me to be legal.

I couldn't find anything regarding a scandal, I've got the email address of three other teachers in the dept though and I am less than enamoured with the place.

I really think I may have to give backword :

It seems that you both have been working there since the fall. Is there any update that you could provide - working conditions etc. ? PM me if you prefer.

I gave back word; the whole issue became weirder and weirder with time...

I'm in the South of China now at a much more reputable university.

Well it seems like you are in a good place now, so kudos. I am actually being contacted by them now. Could you elaborate with any helpful information on this weirdness situation?
