The search function doesn't work very well on this site, so please forgive me if there is already a forum on this topic.
I taught overseas for a few years, but both neither wish to nor cannot do so due to age restrictions. I did some volunteer on-line teaching for an organization that coordinates an Afghan school, but it didn't work out to well for obvious reasons-girls could not get to school often due to safety concerns, so I'd be sitting there waiting for student who never showed.
Am thinking of giving it a try again and would like to hear from those who have done it. What are some good companies to work for, etc.
Thanks. |

Are you using the blue link in the cluster of blue links (FAQ, Search, Profile, etc., below the words "Job Discussion Forum" above the thread? Right side of the page? If not, that's the where to start. Sometimes people use the "Site Search" box in the yellow band at the very top of the page, which isn't very useful.

Yes, that's how I do it, but no matter what parameters I select (forums to search, etc.) or how I word a topic, it never narrows it down, but gives me 60,000 posts on every topic.
There must be a way to do it, but I haven't succeeded.
Thanks for your input anyway. |
