Presumably I'm not the only one whos has been asked that. What do you say to employers in Asia or the Middle East where stamps carry much more weight.

I don't know.... 16 years in EFL in a 1/2 dozen countries and I have never been asked.

Looking at the parchments of staff members here at our school they are (in no particular order) the correct answer would be:
    Bottom right,
    Bottom left,
    bottom center,
    top center.

And they are not stamps but embossed seals with either of:
    the university crest,
the university coat of arms or
    the university logo.

.

I have signatures from the top bods from the uni, no stamps. I've never been asked that question, 10 years in TEFL in six countries. Seems an odd way to certify your qualification..

Fortunately, or unfortunately, they don't seem to want official transcripts.
