Hi there,
I'm currently coming to the end of my 5th year in KSA. I've a CELTA, PGCE and MA (App. Ling). I've 6+ years experience, all gained after CELTA, one gained after MA. All experience is 18+ age group (oil company & university).
I'm getting fed up with the bleak, rigid culture of KSA and considering a move to the UAE. What prospects do my quals & experience afford me?

Positions in the UAE are highly competitive given that the government foundation year programs will be phased out in a couple of years; lots of teachers already in country will be seeking new contracts with other UAE universities. Plus, major recruiting for the region generally happens at TESOL Arabia's job fair. (See 2016 TESOL Arabia conference in Dubai.) |
