Wondering if anyone has taught there, has any advice or recommendations about it.

Thanks!

I don't know anything about them, but that is a pretty nice part of town. It seems close to 金大 (if I've got the branch of this chain right). Housing is very reasonable, and shopping's fine--close by Aeon/Jusco, Yamaya (booze), and a uniqlo, many restaurants, etc. All very very walkable from where the school seems to be.

It'd be a bus or bike ride to one of the city centers or the station (nightlife and more restaurants), but that part of town is well-served by bus lines.

One turn off for me, do they force you to use company housing? As that is almost a guarantee that they are ripping you off.

It is supposed to be a nice place.
It is called a little Kyoto.

Winter is not nice since it rains or snows.

Agree that Kanazawa is a nice place to live, although winters can be hard if you don't like the cold and summer is humid.

I don't know much about Lesson4u other than that they seem to advertise on here once or twice a year. I responded to ads on here a couple of times and never received any reply.

As for their locations, from what I gather from a quick look at their website, they have a Kanazawa branch near Kanazawa University - as kzjohn said, it's a convenient part of town - as well as a branch in Nonoichi and in Tsubata, which are neighbouring towns and cities that are easily accessible by train.
