Hello friends,

I would be happy to get a good trim on both my face and head. I am assuming I may need to head somewhere in Shibuya or Shinjuku. Any advice or personal recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks

I've always gone to QB House. It's cheap and I think they've done a good job.

Did they comb your comb?

Were they ever able to get your rooster tail under control?

Most places are decent. I found a place that is inside an onsen that does a great job. The haircut is cheap 1000yen, but the shave, though good is pricey, 1000yen as well. I love getting a straight razor shave here, it is pretty awesome.

You just have to look around. Some places don't cut Gaijin hair that well, others do. A lot of places still offer shaves though. Which is cool.

I have walked by a QB House before. They cut facial hair as well?

Japanese barbers are terrible.

I went back home. Went into the barber shop and sat down in the chair. The barber asks me, "Who in the hell cut your hair? It has no shape."

The worst haircuts I have ever had were in Japan.

And...

The worst housing, medical system, food, bicycles, etc.

They kept it under control.

I don't know. I've never asked them to and never seen anyone in there with facial hair (who wasn't working there).

I still stick by my earlier statement of liking QB House.

I hope your second part is a joke.

I have short, easy hair, and use a cut rate discount place--about 1300 yen, and that includes a shave if you want it, but a wash is extra.

They do the sides of my beard in winter, blending the length around my ear with the beard, but I don't trust them with the rest of it.
