Hi all, I'd appreciate some help with this.
Does anybody know if it's possible to do a BA degree online? It would also have to be from a native English speaking country.
Obviously you can do masters online, but is a BA possible? I always thought you could only do a BA in person, but if anybody knows otherwise, I'd be interested to hear about it. |

Sure
Most Canadian universities offer them now (in limited subjects). |

Ditto for the US. However, it might depend on which undergrad major you want to pursue. |

The UK (open-U), Canada (Athabaska -U) Australia and NZ all have accredited distance learning options at the BA level and there is a fairly wide range of majors to choose from. Degree mills are illegal in the 4 aforementioned countries.
Caveat Emptor when dealing with distance learning in the US. You need to do far more research to ascertain the end value of the program before you buy in.
The US has a large number of good options and many state funded universities offer blended learning and distance learning options but the issue in the US is the "for profit" universities and the "degree mills"; none of which are worth the money or the time that you need to invest for a proper Bachelor degree and all of which are largely discounted after-the-fact as being essentially useless and not recognized by employers.
