Greetings, All,
Anyone out there have anything to say about what it's like to teach at Al Raha International School in Abu Dhabi, UAE? I received an offer of employment yesterday.
I've been working in Saudi Arabia this school year and it's time to move on -- Life here is difficult for a Westerner. I miss "normal."
Thanks. |

Again with the understatements!
I've known parents of children, teachers themselves, who had there children go there and they had absolutely nothing negative to say about the school. I can't help to think that they would have either heard or detected something if there were significant problems there.
However, education in the Emirates is in a particularly interesting state of flux right now and I wouldn't want to bet that what is true this year will hold true very long into the future. |
