Hey alls,

I've just been offered a job with the Beijing Polytechnic College in Beijing, China.

I like the offer and the Chinese staff seem legit. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this college? A quick internet search didn't reveal much (in English), which could be a good or bad thing. I already have a year's teaching experience in China, so I know the usual red flags to look for.

Any help would be appreciated.

As a general comment about vocationals I've found students going into customer-facing industries like tourism/hospitality are eager to learn English. IT types and similar are hard to motivate.
Another thing is the vocational degree course is usually a 3-year associate degree.

Is this the job for 10000+ a month plus accommodation in BJ?

If so I think the uni students will not be of the best quality.

Ok yeah it'sa the same one I was offered. I think I was offered 14k for 16 hours. But the uni required so much stuff, a video example, an example of my teaching etc. couldn't be bothered to find a video of me teaching.

Also the pollution in Beijing is utterly horrendous.
