I'm trying to find the the forum posting for online CBC/CBR, but when I used the search function, it's connected through Google. If someone can do a quick search and find it, please send it to me. My Recruiter just asked me to provide a criminal background check and I remember seeing it a while back on Daves.

In the U.S. there is a private company that provides criminal background checks for companies. It is called Crimcheck:

Your company can request the check, then you can pay for the report with your credit card. Both you and your company will receive a CBC.

If you are an American, find out from your employer if this is acceptible.

Geez, that website has changed in the past month. It didn't stipulate a tax number last time I looked.

It's a bit weird that it'll release a background check to an employer AND the prospective employee when the prospective employee pays with his own credit card (as I did for a stateside employer a couple of years ago). I submitted my copy to a Chinese employer.
