Has anybody ever dealt with (or heard about) IHCTL\IHWO qualification?
It is supposed to be International House Certificate for Teaching Languages, an on-site TEFL\TESOL course, similar to CELTA in terms of content.
But that's pretty much everything I know about it.
Is it recognized around the world? Has somebody found a job with its help? |

It'll be recognized at other International House sites. Outside of the IH system, it's one of those non-standard certs that potential employers have to either happen to have heard of already (and hopefully in a positive light) or they have to do research.
If you are applying outside of the IH system, and in a job market where other applicants are likely to have a CELTA or SIT Tesol, you'll be at (another) disadvantage with an IH cert. |

In SE Asia it is the same as any other TEFL certificate.
That said, the CELTA carries no more or less weight than any other TEFL/TEDL/TESOL certificate either.
Acceptance and value of your cert would depend on the market you are trying to get into.
