I was told that the Czech and Poland have strong ESL markets. I am planning on starting a CELTA course in February in either of those places. Is it likely that I could attain work shorty after taking the course? Or should I wait for the next hiring season to fly over there and take the course and settle down? |

As most job contracts are Sept/Oct thru June, trying to find work in March is going to be VERY difficult.
Go over in August for the course. You'll find something in September. There is a small hiring bump in January (filling in for teachers who didn't return from winter break and a few new clients whose contracts started in the calendar year) but March is dead. |

Would it be a bad idea to begin a January course that finished in Feb? People would have already settled into work by then right? |
