Does anyone have experience of applying for the above? If so, what is the likely timescale of the process from application to actual issue of a visa? |

Thanks mnruman. Judging by these threads, it shouldn't take too long. |

Hi there ayeshamai,
Did you apply for the 90/180 days family visit visa? Or the family residency visa?
The difference is one is a visit visa and the other one allows the family to stay as long as the teacher (legally remains in KSA) |

Hi guys,
can anybody from the UK share their experience of getting their marriage certificate attested.
Did you have to get the document legalised by a solicitor and then attested.
This is the site I found, is this correct?
https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised
appreciate any help |

Visit visa is very easy to apply for. Takes about a week. Just need passport copy of the visitor, stamped letter from chamber of commerce, and someone in HR to complete the form in Arabic.
Cost is 25 or 35 SAR I think.
You get a number, which you can then check online at the MOFA website to see if it's been approved.
Any difficulties are likely to be encountered at the Saudi embassy inn the visitor's country, but as long as you have all the required documents then no problem. And money of course. |

I don't want a visit visa, I'm looking for family residence visa which I believe requires marriage certificate and chids birth certificates to be attested. |
