seems like one of my buddy's school is forcing some of the foreigners to quit so they have give them an exist package ie Giving unrealistic expectations and projects, last notice of a big tasks, no guild-lines and directions.. leaving them stressful with uncertainties.
Any suggestion what can we can do? can the law protect us from such practices? good law firm with reasonable price for English teachers?
Of course, we don't want to approach a lawyer at this point as it will look bad in resume and hard to explain for future employers. |

Is this a branch of a big chain school, a small family-owned school, or something else?
Are these demands being put on everybody equally, or are certain teachers being targeted?
If you can provide any other relevant information, it would help us to better understand the situation. It would probably be easier if your friend posted here directly.
Going to a lawyer about unfair labor practices isn't something that you'd put on your resume. Unless the prospective employer had reason to know about the legal issues at the other school, I don't see how it would come up during the application process. Either way, that shouldn't scare you away from reasonable pursuit of legal help. |
