Hello -
I've offered a volunteer teaching position on the Galapagos with Universidad San Francisco de Quito (GAIAS). I responded to this ad:

Has anyone lived on the Galapagos? Perhaps worked for this university. I was wondering about your experiences.
Thanks!

I applied for this position a couple of years back and was offered it, but opted for something else instead. If I remember rightly you have to head to Quito first and hang around there for a few days waiting on your visa. I have to say the islands look pretty spectacular but there is literally nothing to do, just bear that in mind before you accept. You might start going a bit crazy a month or two in. |

But imagine reading this among the trees there, and the stories you'd have to tell. Well worth a year or two of boredom. |
