Hello, All
I've recently applied to Nazarbayev University's EFL Writing Program and I'd like to get the complete skinny on working there as a General English/Writing Teacher, but there seem to be very few current posts with any related info. So, I'd like to ask anyone if they have any current info on the following:
- What is the salary range for someone with an MA in TESL and 5 years experience abroad teaching EAP?
-What is the dept as well as the univ like? Nice to work for? How are the students?
-How many vacation days do you have each year?
-What is the accommodation like? Is the overall benefit package worth your while? How much do you pay in local taxes?
-How is life in Astana?
-Basically, would you recommend taking the job?

Any info would be helpful. Thanks so much.

Don't expect to hear anything for awhile now. I suspect they may already be settling in for the long cold winter.
