Hi...havent posted before because most of the info I needed I could find withpout adding my 2 cents...but this needs asking.
I was placed with a Sesame St school in Taiwan weeks ago...got my contract etc. Ticket is now booked and Im due to leave South Africa in 2 weeks. Today my agent emails me and reckons the Taiwanese Gvt no longer recognises UNISA degrees...the biggest distance learning tertiary education in SA!!! So looks like Im screwed basically!
Are there any south africians out there teaching with a UNISA degree, and if so, when were u accepted...apparently this is a revised list that they have been taken off, and I really dont understand it!
