I am too old for this, I applied for a job and got this reply;
"Hi Slaqdog(name changed)!

After reviewing your application materials, we are interested in having you complete a practice task! This will give you a better idea of the responsibilities of a Content Publisher, and also allow us to see if you would be a good fit. Please complete the attached task by Wednesday 10/19. Let me know if you have any questions!
Cheers!"

WTF!
My visceral disgust at the contents of the letter is a clear indicator that age has finally warped me into a complete crank.
Be careful out there.

Cheers![/b]

But Seinfeld's Elaine Benes applauds you, so you've got that going for you.

@Slagdog

At least you didn't get multiple emoticons, 'so' spelt with five or six extra 'Os' or the vile 'LOL'.

Thanks to all for the replies.
Retirement is not an option as I have an extended family of rice farmers to support but wish you well Scot.
As to being linked to a Seinfield character: well I do love the actress and feel strangely proud at this.
I drank Sambuca and Guiness yesterday after my desert stint ended and feel remarkably peaceful and at one with the universe today. Am applying to return to China; a nice relaxing low paid University job is the near enough to retirement and I miss the place.
