A couple of questions regarding the PGCEi and the TCT
Has anyone had experience of people completing the PGCEi and then successfully completing the application for the TCT?
Secondly could one complete the PGCEi in Bangkok and apply for an Ed Visa whislt completing it? |

Complete the PGCEi AND complete the culture course and licensing is pretty straight forward. Application, documentation, work permit, and some paperwork from the school along with your 500 baht fee and your yellow card (5 year license) will appear in the mail in about 8 weeks.
You cannot apply for an EDU visa while doing a distance course based outside of Thailand.
You can obtain a non-B and a teachers' waiver (even if you have previously reached your limit for waivers) based on employment AND proof of enrollment and activity toward completion of the course.
Alternatively, if you are NOT working you can obtain single entry tourist visas (currently free) that are good for a 60-day stay and 30-day extension. 4 visas will cover you for a year while you do your course.

I wasn't sure if that was part of the requirements, other wise why would you need a PGCE?
Or do you mean employed as a teacher but with no formal yeah King qualifications? |
