30 contact hours a week in the middle of a Saudi summer, and all for a salary of 12-13,000 a month sounds like a bad deal to me. |

A business/work visit visa given that it's a short-term gig. |

Thanks nomad, I thought so too, especially as it seems to be near Bahrain. |

Huh? Proximity to Bahrain has nothing to do with visa type or length of contract. |

I will try my best to clarify, forgive me. My point about Bahrain was if a prospective FT was required to obtain a business or work visit visa there for the KSA, it can be done before crossing over into the KSA/going to Jubail, as it is nearby to the eastern province mentioned in the ad. Unless the visa can be issued before entry in the FT's homeland, and one can fly into say, Dammam? No offence was meant to you at all. |

There's no mention or suggestion that the SAR 12-13000 salary is per month.........it could easily be the total per each of the 2 month programs. that is, about SAR 6000/month.....a pauper's wage. How will it be paid, by the way. On a 2 month jobie, likely with a visit visa, there's no way you're going to be able to open a local bank acct. to deposit/transfer your money. How's the company going to deal with this situation?? Have they even thought about it or are they even aware of this issue?
In addition to the 30 TEACHING (or contact) hours per week (that's 6 hours of teaching a day), there is an additional hour per day for OFFICE HOUR. And, one must always enquire, what happens when a teacher is "sick"?? Someone (you) has to take over for 7 hours of teaching/day for an indefinite period? Will it be considered overtime? Average class size? (And who are the students?) And what materials will be used?
All these questions and more have to be asked. To me, the whole project sounds preposterous. Any hesitation by the recruiter/employer being "transparent" about any of these issues, hang up the phone. |

You'd get the biz/work visit visa while in your present country of legal residence or home country and then fly into KSA. Saudi embassies are generally located throughout the world. The ad likely mentioned Bahrain to give an idea of where Jubail is located and/or to point out that R&R is just a car trip away (with a multi-exit/reentry visa). |

There are no multi-exit / re-entry visas for biz/work visit visas ..... These types of visas are by definition multi exit/entry visas for the period of their validity. |

So for two months, you could leave once (or more) per month, in effect? |
