I'm a Brit with a Masters in TEFL, presently living and teaching in Lyon, France.
My partner, is French, she trains nurses, and will retire in a couple of years.
I'm looking to relocate to Les Dom Tom to get installed before she retires, so I'm putting feelers out for teaching jobs, even buying a share in a language school. Any info will help.
Cheers |

I think the fact that looking online shows next to nothing in Reunion Island tells you everything you need to know, unfortunately. I was also interested in this island but there appears to be nothing, except one job I saw teaching kids once.
Also, I read that unemployment rate is quite high there (30%) http://data.un.org/CountryProfile.aspx?crName=R%C3%A9union though maybe once you're there you might have better chances of something? How's your French? I imagine in this Island a decent level of French would be necessary.
Anyway, good luck! |
