CELTA is now eligible for funding under the Advanced Learner Loans scheme
Cambridge English | 3 February 2017
Quote: |
People planning to teach English as a foreign language can now apply for a loan to help with the costs of training at a college or training provider in England.
CELTA, a leading qualification from Cambridge English, is now eligible for funding under the Advanced Learner Loans scheme. Eligible individuals can apply for funding of up to £1,417 and loans do not have to be repaid until the course has been completed and the person is earning a specified amount. |

Thanks Nomadsoul - most appreciated! I immediately sent the information to a close friend in the UK who is interested in doing the CELTA, but is finding it difficult to raise the entire course fee. |

Seems a strange course to give funding for. Given the likelihood of the person clearing off abroad once they have it. |
