I was watching television this evening when I ran accross a television program called "English Teachers - Taiwan". The show is a documentary style reality show that follows a small group of native English speaking teachers in Taiwan. Has anyone else seen this show? It airs Mondays on The Life Network here in Canada. I believe it is a British production.
I am curious to know if their depiction of life in Taiwan is accurate (as it pertains to the ESL world) or if it is a clever dramatization guised as a credible documentary. |

I saw that show a few years back.. they didn't depict teaching in Taiwan to be much fun.. nor did they do much justice for the people involved. Just seemed like they had a whole bunch of problems, and didn't really know what they were doing.
Interesting idea for a show though... |
