I've been working at Zhengzhou Chenggong University of Finance and Economics in Gongyi, Henan for almost 2 years and have found it a pleasant experience teaching freshmen and sophomores, English majors and non-English majors.

The Foreign Affairs Office do a fantastic job looking after the foreign teachers and keeping us informed of upcoming events. The apartments are enormous and well maintained with a good bathroom layout, internet, computer and suitable furniture. Gongyi is a traditional Chinese city and could be challenging for some, however if you want to see the real China it's a excellent location.

It is in Gongyi.

If I go to the Metro in Zhengzhou it takes me about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

My old school where I used to work has been advertising quite a bit lately.

20 work hours a week to live in the middle of nowhere for that low of pay I think are the reasons why it would be tough to get people to go there. Pay should be higher and the hours should be lower.

rioux, I like your brief description of this school as compared to the OP who wrote one glowing review for his/her one sole dave's post and then vanished (four years ago).
