Hello Everyone,
I have been reading Dave ESL posts for a while now, so I thought I would just say hello. I am moving to Istanbul in a month to take my TEFL course and find a job in person. I have been reading about many of your experiences and am taking each testimony with a grain of salt. I know I will have to experience things on my own, but I do enjoy reading all of your stories. I just graduated college and was wondering if you have any advice on how to prepare for a first time teaching job? Also, do you have any advice for adapting to Istanbul and making new friends? These are pretty general questions, but this is all I can think of for now.
