|
|
Hello all! I'm wondering if anyone has any leads on university teaching positions in Vietnam for this upcoming academic year? I have an MA TESOL and 6 years of teaching experience in the field. I'm trying to find a university that is going to help me continue to grow professionally. Any leads or advice would be infinitely appreciated! |

The only way you would get that information is to arrive here yourself and start knocking on doors. |

For whatever reason, universities in Vietnam don't normally hire foreign lecturers. There are several foreign universities operating in VN that do, namely RMIT.
There's an extensive thread on RMIT:

As for the local unis, try scouring job sites and networking as much as possible. Unfortunately, most don't even have an English language website. |

My understanding is that a lot of the universities have volunteer foreign teachers. |

Hello everyone! Thanks for weighing in on my post. The information I received is very conflicting... There must be some better info out there on job leads in Vietnamese universities! |

Do note that working at Unis in VN if often part-time for a low hourly wage and resources are often solely up to you to provide.
There are full-time jobs for specific foreign teachers who have very specialized academic credentials and experience (e.g. certain types of business studies). |
