				| Hi all, i'm new to the forum and am considering teaching english in istanbul for the rest of the year.
I was just wondering how easy(or difficult) it is to find the average job without a degree in Turkey, am currently a 4th year uni student and am about to do the TESOL or CELTA certificate later this month( any opinions re: which one is better as well?).

I've been told that turning up in Turkey and finding a job is the best way to go about it as well.

thanks all, this has probably all been covered already but it would be good to know what the current situation is.

				| There are jobs to be had. Just walk into a few language schools and enquire. You won't be legal so you'll have to do a border run every three months. You'll also have to look out for dodgy owners who may refuse to pay you, pay you less, or simply mistreat you because you won't have a contract. But having said that, this seems to happen to many of those who do have contracts too... | |
