I am a teacher like everyone here but I've also trained as an alternative health practicioner. Is there any chance of gaining employment at a holistic clinic in the Phillies or working on a self-employed basis (ie. just treating patients in my apartment). I'm guessing there are serious visa issues and red tape involved here... |

Not legally possible due to visa and "protected profession" issues.
Even if you have a visa that allows work (13a - married to a Filipino) you would still have legal issues as an alternative health practitioner who is not a Filipino.

I am not sure what type of holistic medicine you practice and if you need to be in the presence of the client, but perhaps you could take your act online (disregarding the country's Internet issues). There are even a couple online language schools out there that allow teachers to offer supplemental classes in areas related to health. |

Hi Jim, thanks for the reply.
I could take it online. The problem is I suck at internet marketing and I don't know if I could get enough clients. Should I get someone to do the marketing part for me?
I'm a homeopath by the way. Does anyone have any health issues I could help with? lol |

Homeopathy/ Most Filipinas have a good enough grasp of quackery to not need outside help. |
