|

A new forum has been established for NET Teachers employed by the EMB enhanced NET scheme in Hong Kong. The Yahoo e-group has been set up to support all Primary & Secondary NETs. Members must be either serving NETs in Hong Kong Schools or former NETS who have been employed in the scheme.
The group grew out of the long running NESTA (Native English Speaking Teachers Association) e-group as it was felt by many members that the group should be open to non-members of NESTA.

The newly formed and independent HONG KONG NEST is an online discussion group for NETs (Native Speaking English Teachers) who are employed in Hong Kong Primary & Secondary Schools under the Enhanced NET scheme administered by the HK Education Dept. (EMB)
The group now has 100 members. If you are interested in joining this group you must be employed as a NET in the scheme or formerly employed as a NET. The aim of the group is to offer support to members and discuss any issues of concern to members in a private forum where members confidentiality is respected. The group is not anti NESTA as some people have recently suggested on another forum. NESTA members are welcome as are members of any other forums or associations provided that members respect the guidelines of the group. The aim is to have a forum which is inclusive and open to all NETs and to support all NETs.
