My employer is asking the entire teaching staff to bring fapiaos (receipts) to work. We are to give them to management so that the company can enjoy some tax benefit.

If we don't bring enough fapiaos the company will withhold some money from us (unclear how). This is all written in our new contracts. I know this is illegal but does anyone know what legal provision this breaks, exactly?

Gazoo,

Not sure, my school does require fapiao for the housing, otherwise you will be taxed on the housing allowance. What we do is buy a fapiao that is much cheaper to get than the amount we would lose through tax. Maybe this is what they mean?

Maybe I'm missing something obvious but t's not clear what fapiao you are being asked for , whether you have them or can get them etc. etc. Is it for housing , travel, flights ?

I don't see why this should be illegal on the employer's part , just annoying they didn't make it plain up-front what they required.

We were all hired with an offer of money that was stated as "after tax" salary. So the tax liability is all on the company.

We are being asked for ANY fapiaos (groceries, utilities, taxi and the like). This is to help lower the companies tax liability as we have none (contractually, that is).
