Has anyone used corrective makeup/cream while in Japan to cover a tattoo? Can i buy something like this in Tokyo?
Thanks,

How big & visible is the tattoo in question? And are you certain that you'll need to? (Is your school clearly anti-tattoo?)
The only times I've ever even thought about hiding mine have been when visiting new onsens for the first time. A couple of bandages do the trick. I've never had any problems--at onsens, at school, at the one swimming pool that I've been to, etc.

I know one woman who wore an ace bandage around her ankle everyday for a year to cover a tatoo. Her school was really anti-tatoo. |

Thanks for the replies.
My tattoo is fairly large -- on my upper arm. I also have a small one on my wrist that I cover with a watch.
I don't know if my school is anti-tattoo or not. I actually want to cover the tatt up for when I go out wearing something sleeveless -- when I was here last time the disapproving stares got a bit much sometimes! I haven't seen many tattoos in Tokyo...
