I'm after any useful info about the English department at this institution. Are the staff helpful? Do native speakers focus on teaching oral English, or all four language skills? What about student quality, equipment, rooms, etc?

Any further details on the life of the college would be great. Thanks.

Based ONLY on my experience with another Shandong vocational college this one is likely to teach a 3-year associate degree.
The students may undertake an industry placement during Y2 and attend only sporadically in Y3. This is because many have been offered employment by their industry hosts.
You'll find equipment a bit run down and you should have a plan B for any lesson involving computer/OHP.
Students will be mainly local province as there is enrolment preference.
Beyond that I found the students to be good and likely the first in their families to attempt tertiary study.
