I applied at the Al Waad Academy for the new 2018-2019 year, but recently heard (nothing confirmed yet) British contracts are no longer being renewed. Again, nothing confirmed, but management is cutting overhead and will hire new teachers with lower packages.
Any insight will be appreciated. |

Sources from Al Waad Academy have communicated that British nationals hired as instructors will be let go this academic year. Waad wants to bring in Saudi teachers. |

There is continuing pressure from the Ministries of Labour and Education to utilise Saudi personnel for jobs like this. The Ministry of the Interior through the Jawazat also has a say in this and is pursuing similar policies. |

who would pay 40,000 sar a year to send their kids to a saudi teacher? why not just send them to a public school? |
