Can anyone recommend a long-stay hotel in Doha?

All depends on your budget. CNAQ and QU both use Ezdan (West Bay) as temp housing while teachers wait for their permanent housing. In Al Saad, around the corner from Red Lobster on C-Ring, there is also a place called Universal Hotel Suites. It's the same building as Sol restaurant, which serves Korean food. I believe the price is similar to Ezdan, and the rooms are nicer. Kempinski has really nice hotel apartments, but there's a high price for that spot, though if you have a couple of people who are also interested that could bring the price down and make it more affordable. Same with Intercon the city. Also, check with each place and see if your employer gets a corporate rate. It could save you some $$$.

THank you, Thirsty.

I used to stay in the Ezdan when I was working 1 month rotational oil and gas jobs in Qatar. Not bad, but poorly constructed and poor sewage (smell). That was just after the Asian Games and construction had been rushed. Perhaps they've sorted the bugs out by now.

Thanks for recommending checking out Universal, Kempinski and Intercon.
