Are you doing a summer camp, either by free will or because you're obliged to?
I have a full two months off. Sticky thing is it's unpaid.
I might take on a gig, if it's reasonable hours, non-hellish students and in a less than furnace-like part of the country. Free accommodation and meals are a must.
* Would prefer to be in the Philippines but a recent hospital stay blew that budget out the water.
Oh, and any links to decent summer camps, post em here, or PM me please. Ta! |

Last nine years I worked helping students redo assessments they failed. This year, new job, I have the summer completely paid (even accom. fees), so no work. |

Sorry to hear that, were you not insured?
I will be chilling out for the Summer (actually just posted a thread over on the other forum) in SEA. But if I do hear of anything decent in SH, I'll let you know. |

That's a negative for me. I find the summer camps tend to be run like a circus, plus the summer is paid for already so I'll be staying at home blasting the A/C and eating cheap BBQ. |

I was going to do a 10-day one in early July, it was close to me and good pay. But, they hired their people in less than 2 days and I missed out (thought they would do interviews, silly me).
My summer is also paid and my apartment is mine until August too. I'll be taking advantage of this to GTFO of China as is generally necessary to keep my sanity. I'm heading for the UK. Probably going to have 5 days or so in the Philippines too, London has some high-priced hotels so I'll take advantage of Manila's great hotels and American food for cheap. |

I may do a summer camp if I find something not too demanding. I'm looking primarily in this area, but would consider going to other parts of the country as well. If I don't find anything in the next couple of weeks I'll just take the summer off and relax somewhere cool. |

This is my swan song, as my visa is up in September, and I'm not renewing. Time to see more of the world, but I thought I'd buffer my pocket before I left. |

Seconded on all accounts. I'll be doing the same.
