I really want to know... what's the weather? What cool thing did someone see today? Anyone able to take a photo of the city or a shrine or train or something??

The Japan photo thread is years old...

I'm just really depressed and miss Japan so much Sad Even the cool sound you hear when a train stops, or the jingle at family mart... *sigh* lol

Read Japan Times, watch NHK World, correspond on that other huge forum for Japan Life, Moving to Japan, Teaching in Japan.

It’s a bad idea to put an email address on an open forum. You’ll get a spamalanche of junk mail.

Japan times requires a subscription, because I already read too much stuff this month lol... and I don't have television (millenials don't really use it)

Maybe my time is better spent saving up to visit during winter break...

Sorry to bug ya. Have fun in Tokyo Razz

It was 30 today. You are not missing much. I took the subway at Shinjuku. It was packed. It was painful. I thought the Chiyoda line was crowded. Nope.
Toei Shinjuku was totally full.
I did not sleep well last night, and students did not either.

You were at Shinjuku? That's cool... there's a giant garden there to cool off in if it's too hot, and it's only like 100 yen admission Smile

Aren't the trains only busy during rush hour?

Hope tomorrow is a bit cooler for ya Razz
