				| Last year I changed my Non-Imm 'B' visa to a Retirement visa. Now I have the possibility of a job, is it posible to change the Retirement visa back to a Non-Imm 'B' visa in Thailand? Or would I have to do a visa run and re-enter on a Tourist visa, and then get that visa changed to a Non-Imm 'B' visa? | |

				| My advice is contact your local FRIENDLY immigration officer for information ...but as far as I know you cannot do this and you will have to leave the country and reapply for a Non-Immigrant B visa at a Thai mission abroad with the correct paperwork in hand. | |

IF you have all the correct paperwork to do a change of status to non-B (may require authentication and an MFA stamp from Chengwattana) you can do the switch at immigration.

It may be easier and cheaper to do a visa run than a change of status in some cases (due to the costs of authenticating your documents).
