no idea about Beijing , but there's nothing too taxing about the weather in Shenzhen , and Guangdong in general - on the coast it rarely gets too hot and the winters are very comfortable. In Shenzhen especially, classrooms should have aircon., in training schools for sure , and probably in Unis too.
Other cities inland like Chongqing have more extreme weather, and I suspect the summer in Nanjing or Beijing is just as unpleasant. I remember being in Shanghai when it was 39/40 degrees every day for a week or so...
I teach in an inland province , which has been very sticky for the past two weeks, and only ceiling fans for cooling. But the weather will change soon .
June to September are pretty unbearable outside , but unless you're commuting to each class or teaching in many locations, and have to walk distances , it should not affect you so much. |
