English Recruitment/English Today Recruitment and CECN Educonsult

I received an email from English Recruitment saying that I should forward a copy of my passport to CECN Educonsult because ministry of manpower need it. Shocked does this sound right?

its like Im being tossed from one recruiter to another. Also Would they issue me a valid visa? You know there are some stories about issuing an invalid visa for teachers for KSA. Would this be the same?

UAE does this all right...

Should I not go on with this?? Any advice would be great. Ive been jobless since June 2017 and Im about to jump at any opportunity so if theres ANYONE who has sth to say please say so. I would really appreciate it!

EDIT:
Extra info:
I applied. English Recruitment said Ill forward your papers. After 40-50 days They said the email above. Sooo now Im wondering are they serious/real/authentic/legit/trustworthy/etc

A copy of your passport is required as proof of your nationality as well as age. It's quite common to send a copy of your photo page along with your CV/resume when applying for jobs abroad.

It seems to be the norm in Oman with recruiters.

About 10 years ago, CECN offered me a position and said they would be in touch. I didn't hear from them again for about two months when I received an email asking where I was. Of course, by this time I had another job.
